MP 11/8/2012. McBRIDE (2), BLACK, MOFFAT. Line-up as yet unsourced. Played at Dam Park, Ayr.
Thistle rode their luck at first but once they settled they merited their win. It was 3-0 at half-time and 4-0 before Vics scored a consolation goal.
2. ?Tue-14-Aug-2012 [a] W1-0 Glasgow University (Friendly)
MP 11/8/2012. SEKHON. Line-up as yet unsourced. Played at Glasgow Science Park. Nominal date.
3. Thu-06-Sep-2012 [a] W1-0 Maryhill (Friendly)
MP 22/9/2012. Scully, Brown, Keenan, Halsman, Lindsay, Sekhon, Moffat, McLean, Black, Gallacher, WILSON. (Leyden, McBryde, O'Donnell (G).)
4. Tue-11-Sep-2012 [a] D1-1 Cowdenbeath (Reserve League West)
MP 22/9/2012. Wightman, Brown, Sinclair, Balatoni, Sekhon, Halsman, Wilson, KEENAN, Elliott, Forbes, Craigen. (Lindsay, Black, Gallacher.)
Keenan scored from new signing Forbes' corner (12 ) but Cowdenbeath equalised in quick time and there was no further scoring.
5. Tue-18-Sep-2012 [h] L3-4 Dumbarton (Reserve League West)
MP 22/9/2012. Wightman, Brown, Keenan, Rowson, Balatoni, Sekhon, Forbes, Wilson, Black, CRAIGEN (2), GALLACHER. (McLean, Lindsay, Leyden.)
Disappointing having led 2-0 and 3-2. The keeper fumbled Craigen's shot (11) then Gallacher slotted home a Keenan pass (14). A pen put Dumbarton back in it (23) and they levelled (37) but Craigen lobbed the keeper (43). A long-range effort (46) and a header (53) earned the points.
6. Mon-24-Sep-2012 [a] L1-5 Airdrie United (Reserve League West)
MP 20/10/2012. Trialist, Brown, Keenan, Forbes, Sekhon, Balatoni, Halsman, ROWSON, Black, Gallacher, Craigen. (Lindsay, Moffat, Wilson.)
The weather was atrocious but the scoreline made it much worse. Black had a good chance before Airdrie scored then ex-JAG Di Giacomo scored before a Sekhon og made it 3-0 at half-time. It was 4-0 (50) but Rowson's header was of little consequence. A fifth goal made for a miserable night,
7. Mon-08-Oct-2012 [a] L0-1 Queen's Park (Reserve League West)
MP 20/10/2012. Scully, Brown, Keenan, Halsman, Lindsay, Balatoni, Wilson, Rowson, Black, Craigen, Gallacher. (Leyden, McLean, O'Donnell (G).)
A poor game all round. The only goal came from Balatoni when he deflected a shot that was going nowhere into the net. Thistle improved after half-time but still couldn't find an equaliser.
8. Tue-16-Oct-2012 [h] W1-0 Ayr United (Reserve League West)
MP 20/10/2012. Scully, Brown, Keenan, Halsman, Lindsay, Sekhon, WILSON, McLean, Black, Gallacher, Leyden.
The first league victory of the season (and one of only two as it turned out) came courtesy of Wilson who converted a Black cross (39).
9. Tue-23-Oct-2012 [a] D1-1 Raith Rovers (Reserve League West)
MP 3/11/2012. Scully, Brown, Sinclair, Lindsay, SEKHON, Halsman, Keenan, Rowson, Elliott, Black, Gallacher. (O'Donnell (G), McLean, Leyden.)
Thistle trailed at half-time but earned a point through a goal by Sekhon when he headed in a Keenan corner. O'Donnell went close late on but Thistle had to settle for a point.
10. Tue-30-Oct-2012 [h] L1-4 Stenhousemuir (Reserve League West)
MP 3/11/2012. Scully, Brown, Sekhon, Lindsay, Keenan, Rowson, Halsman, McLean, ELLIOTT, Black, (?). (Wightman, Wilson, Leyden.) Played at East Kilbride.
A slack pass-back let Stenhousemuir in for a half-time lead. They extended the lead before Elliott pulled one back. Thistle went all out for an equaliser but late goals from a corner and a free-kick made it 4-1 - a slightly flattering scoreline.
11. Tue-06-Nov-2012 [h] W2-0 Queen of the South (Reserve League West)
MP 10/11/2012. Scully, Brown, Keenan, Lindsay, Sekhon, GALLACHER, Halsman, McLean, Slane, BLACK, Moffat. (Wilson, O'Donnell (G), Leyden.)
Gallacher gave Thistle the lead with an excellent strike from the corner of the box (14) and it remained 1-0 until Black capitalised on a defensive mistake to take the ball round the keeper and roll it into the empty net (75).
12. Tue-13-Nov-2012 [a] L1-5 Livingston (Reserve League West)
MP 24/11/2012. Wightman, Brown, Keenan, Sekhon, Lindsay, Murray, Halsman, Gallacher, Elliott, BLACK, Moffat. (Wilson, Leyden, McLean.)
13. Tue-20-Nov-2012 [h] L0-3 Rangers (Reserve League West)
MP 24/11/2012. Wightman, Wilson, Keenan, Halsman, Lindsay, Sekhon, Black, Rowson, McGuigan, Gallacher, Elliott. (Leyden.)
14. Tue-27-Nov-2012 [a] D4-4 Annan Athletic (Reserve League West)
MP 15/12/2012. Wightman, McNamara, Archibald, Rowson, Lindsay, Sekhon, Moffat, KEENAN, Donnelly, Gallacher, McGUIGAN (3). (Wilson, McLean, Black.)
Annan scored first then McGuigan took a 30-yard pass from McNamara and levelled. Annan went 3-1 up by half-time. Donnelly set up McGuigan to reduce the lead but again Annan scored only for McGuigan then Keenan to earn a point.
15. Tue-15-Jan-2013 [h] L1-2 East Fife (Reserve League West)
Source not recorded. Line-up and scorer as yet unsourced.
16. Mon-04-Mar-2013 [a] W2-1 Airdrie United (Scottish Reserve League Cup section game)
MP 9/3/2013. Daniels, Trialist, Archibald, Halsman, Sekhon, Lindsay, BLACK, WILSON, McGuigan, Gallacher, Elliott. (Leyden, McLean, Moffat.)
Gallacher hit the bar early on then Black turned and fired home an Archibald pass (16). Wilson converted a Gallacher cross for 2-0 at half-time. Ex-JAG Lilley reduced the lead (56) but with the aid of an Airdrie "goal" deemed off-side Thistle held on to the points.
17. Tue-12-Mar-2013 [a] W2-1 Annan Athletic (Scottish Reserve League Cup section game)
MP 23/3/2013. LEYDEN, MOFFAT. Line-up as yet unsourced. Home fixture played away.
18. Mon-25-Mar-2013 [a] L1-3 Greenock Morton (Scottish Reserve League Cup section game)
MP 10/4/2013. Daniels, Green, Sekhon, Lindsay, Archibald, WILSON, Halsman, McLean, Gallacher, Leyden, Black. Home fixture played away.
A goal by Wilson gave Thistle a half-time lead but in the second half a much more experienced Morton side turned things around and applied almost all of the pressure, scoring three times.
19. Tue-09-Apr-2013 [a] D0-0 Queen of the South (Scottish Reserve League Cup section game)
SFHA. Line-up as yet unsourced.
20. Wed-17-Apr-2013 [h] L0-2 Rangers (Scottish Reserve League Cup section game)
PTFC. Daniels, Green, Archibald, Halsman, Lindsay, Sekhon, Wilson, McLean, Leyden, Gallacher, Moffat. Home fixture played at Murray Park.
A header at a free-kick gave Rangers the lead (10) and it was one-way traffic until the break. After some reorganisation and substitutions there was an improvement. Leyden and Gallacher went close but gaps at the back were punished and Rangers made it 2-0 (83).
21. Mon-22-Apr-2013 [a] L1-2 Queen's Park (Scottish Reserve League Cup section game)
SFHA. Wightman, Brown, Green, Lindsay, Archibald, Halsman, Wilson, McLean, Leyden, Gallacher, MOFFAT.
22. Tue-30-Apr-2013 [a] L0-2 Ayr United (Scottish Reserve League Cup section game)
PTFC. Waters, Brown, Green, Sekhon, Lindsay, McLean, Wilson, Moffat, O'Donnell (G), Gallacher, Leyden. (McGuigan).
With no-one with 1st XI experience and a number of U/17s in the line-up, it was a tough ask. Ayr took the lead (25) when a fumble by Waters led to a tap-in. Injuries disrupted things but Thistle fought on and Lyden went close but a curling free-kick secured the points.
23. Sun-19-May-2013 [h] L0-5 Greenock Morton (Reserve League West)
Source not recorded. Line-up as yet unsourced.
