2. Tue-12-Dec-2000 [h] L1-2 Ross County (Scottish Reserve League Cup Quarter Final)
– MP 30/12/2000. Brown, Stewart, CAMERON, Jaaland*, Kean*, Easton, Lyle, Howie, Dunn, Shaw, McGrillen. *Due to limited player availability and competition rules, these players had to be signed on very short-term contracts to allow them to play.
– An entertaining match despite the conditions. A flighted free-kick from 20 yards by Cameron left the keeper rooted to the spot for 1-0 but County soon equalised, the scorer slicing the defence open. The second half was even but a penalty saw Thistle exit the competition.
